We are Michael and Lindsay, a couple with four young children who loves to travel and make memories as a family. We also love helping others do the same in the gatherings we have created! We currently have two coastal properties: a duplex in Ventnor, NJ which we completely rehabbed and a waterfront house on Hatteras Island, NC, which we remodeled. During the pandemic, we purchased a cabin in the Poconos which we remodeled and decided to sell for various reasons. Our heart is in our coastal locations at this time, however, we still love vacationing in the mountains sometimes!

As newlyweds, we vacationed in Ventnor, New Jersey, starting in 2014 and fell in love with the small-town vibe and historic houses. We began to wonder if owning our own beach house might be possible in the future and started dreaming together of a space where we could make memories with our family as well as host other families who could make memories there, too! Along with the inspiration of Michael's parents, our dream became a reality in 2017 (much sooner than we expected), when we purchased our Ventnor property: a duplex less than two blocks from the beach!

The property required a lot of work, so we got right to it, doing a total renovation and redesigning the layouts together as two open-concept beach condos. Michael, an Electrical Engineer by trade, enjoyed the opportunity to put on his tool belt and work on the property with the help of family and friends. Lindsay, a Registered Nurse turned stay-at-home-Mom, worked on the aesthetics of the condos and learned the logistics of the short-term rental business. It was a lot of work for both of us, but we are so happy with the outcome and, most importantly, our guests have been enjoying both of our condos since the summer of 2018!

In the Fall of 2021, we vacationed in Avon, North Carolina, a small remote town on Hatteras Island. We fell in love with the natural beauty, island vibes, and small-town feel. You can probably guess the story from there! We started dreaming of owning our own vacation home on Hatteras, where we could host families as well as vacation ourselves.

On Christmas morning, 2021, Michael surprised Lindsay by gifting her a picture of a house in Avon that they were under contract to buy! They made many trips to Avon in 2022 to remodel their new house, the Island Storm. The house is in a soundfront, windsport community, and has some of the best sunsets on the east coast.

We both come from families that knew the value of a well-spent vacation growing up. Now, we love making memories together with our own family of six as we care for our properties. We are very thankful for what Togather has become and consider getting to host other families a great privilege!
